Our historic 1873 waterfront Victorian home boasts 12-foot ceilings, oversize windows & period architectural details. Original art - themed with room names - grace the walls. The new heating & air conditioning system with individual controls in each bedroom provides comfort on both cool & warm days. All guest rooms are on the second floor and all have water views, private baths and compact refrigerators & microwaves.

A formal dining room & gourmet kitchen are available to guests in the day & evenings, as is a large brick patio with umbrella tables, chairs, & gas grills. Two tall doors connect both the living room & gourmet kitchen to the patio. We provide complimentary beach umbrellas & chairs. However, guests should bring their own beach towels. An enclosed outside shower beside the patio is available for rinsing off after the beach.

Our home operates on an air b-n-b model, rather than a hotel. We offer a simple continental breakfast of toast & jam, a fruit basket plus coffee, tea & juice. We do not provide daily housekeeping in the rooms. Guests are expected to clean and organize the kitchen & other common areas after use. There are recycling baskets in the rooms & the common areas plus outdoor receptacles for discarding guest trash. For longer stays, we change sheets & pick up trash. Clean towels are provided to all rooms every two days, which promotes water conservation on the Island.

However, if you wish to have full daily housekeeping, we are happy to arrange that with our outside cleaning service at their regular rate.

The rates below are double occupancy with a two-night minimum & three nights on holidays. There is a $75/night charge for each extra person over two in a room. State & local taxes of 11.7% are added to the room charges.

The second room of this suite has a double bed with a direct water & sunrise view…it is the favorite of one of our long-term guests who professes it has a mermaid spirit.
